Description:
High condition Model 1873 rifle with 24 inch round barrel chambered in 38 WCF full length mag tube and crescent butt. Beautiful bright shiny bore! Crisp action. Original sights include blade front and a sporting rear. Ample case colors remain on the hammer, trigger and lever. Butt plate has nice case color too. Loading gate has most of the bright original niter blue. Most all of the original blue remains on all of the metal parts of the gun including the dust cover and forend cap. There are a few spots on top of the barrel from poor storage. Most all of the original varnish remains on the stock and forearm. Very nice example of a Winchester rifle made in 1888.
