We are proud to bring you this extremely scarce and desirable all original condition Springfield M1 Garand semi-automatic 30-06 World War 2 infantry rifle. This particular rifle was manufactured in 1941 with a 6 digit serial number of 302024. This rifle has never been rebuilt and is 100% all original from 1941 showing the original barreled action with no chrome at the gas port and the chamber still in the white. All the parts are “SA” marked and it shows the correct inspection stamps for the time period. The rear sight is the correct period sight as well. The sealed front sight is the correct one as well showing the correct sight attachment screw cover to boot! This cover would have been ground off during a rebuild showing its 100% true and correct to being all original! Out of 6,000,000 rifles made its near impossible to find an all original and correct rifle like this. The bolt is marked “D28287-2SA”, the barrel is marked “SA 7-41.” The wear gauge reads at the Muzzle-4 and the throat- 1+. The bore condition is flat out perfect. The operating rod is marked “D35382 3 SA”, above the gas cylinder its marked “D35449-SA”, the receiver is marked “D28291-12 SA.” The trigger housing is marked “D28290-2-SA” The safety is marked “D46015-6SA” The hammer is marked “C 46008-SA”. The rear sight is DRC Flush nut. The front sight is a pre hex key with the metal cover still intact. The original large wheel GHS marked stock shows the appropriate stampings and sights of originality. The follower rod is short fork riveted and the rear handguard clip is the early milled and grooved type. The narrow base gas cylinder with early external assembly number on the right side along with the single slot gas screw. This comes with the correct time period cleaning rod, bad and oil can as well. This is one of the earliest original barreled garands ive found that was not a lend lease marked rifle and to be in this condition is very uncommon as well. Don’t let this pass you by. This is an awesome additions to anyone’s collection!
