Description:
This gun features the early style donut deluxe engraving and a 4 inch barrel and a wolf's head engraved on the hammer. Loading lever and over half the barrel is also engraved. Deluxe burl fancy walnut grips. The cylinder stagecoach theme is all visible. Colt patent marking is done in script on the side of the frame as well as the Samuel Colt marking. Overall gun is in excellent condition with about 70-80% bright shiny blue. The frame has 50-60% case colors. Backstrap and trigger guard have about 90% silver. All numbers matching. Action is crisp and tight. Case is fitted with the correct powder flask, Colt patent percussion caps and a Colt marked brass loading tool. Purple felt type lining shows gun impression and is in pretty good shape. The case itself is near excellent condition with most original varnish remaining. Nice little outfit that is fairly scarce.
