We are proud to bring you this World War II Winchester M1 Garand infantry rifle chambered in 30-06. This rifle was manufactured in 1944. The Winchester records show this specific rifle went through their “polishing” procedure on November 25, 1944. It was later reconditioned in January of 1963. The receiver is an original Winchester from 1944. The barrel and operating rod are H&R. The bolt and trigger group are Springfield Armory. This rifle was not reconditioned by the CMP but by H&R. The fitment and finish of this specific rifle are excellent. The bore is bright and shinny with clean and crisp rifling. The action is smooth and displays a tight and crisp lock up. The trigger guard is not marked. The safety is not marked as well but is a small hole. The front sight is an allen hex and the rear sight is a DRC T105. The parts are marked as follows.
