Beautifully engraved and case colored scalloped receiver on this Italian beauty. Filli Poli is a highly respected maker of shotguns located in the Val Trompia gunmaking area of Italy. Highly figured straight grip stock and splinter forearm. Double triggers and automatic ejectors. Weighing just 6lb 4oz it is perfect for a day’s walk in grouse, woodcock, or quail cover. *** The stock and forearm are made of highly figured walnut. Checkering is crisp. The finish is great but there are a few small handling marks from normal wear. Stock dimensions are 14-3/4” over a 3/4” leather pad by 1-3/8” by 2-1/8”. Cast off for the righthand shot. *** The 74cm(29-1/8”) barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” and 3” shotshells and are topped by a concave game style rib. The barrels are factory over-bored for 0.630 bore diameter and choked Cylinder and Skeet. Perfect for close work in grouse, woodcock, and quail cover. A specialized tool for the experienced upland gunner who understands that Cylinder choke throws the most consistent pattern of any choking. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
