Description:
Up for sale today is a US Winchester M1 Garand serial no. 1386392 chambered in caliber .30-06. This excellent Arsenal-rebuilt Garand was rebuilt in December of 1965 by Springfield Armory. The rifle shows a barrel date of “HRA 09-61,” an outstanding bore, a throat erosion reading of 2, and a muzzle wear reading of 0.75. Wood and metal finish are both outstanding, and the rifle shows a typical panoply of Springfield Armory rebuild parts including a US Springfield trigger group, bolt, and op rod. An outstanding Garand and a great shooter as well.
