C. Smith, except it has the flaming bomb, ordnance wheel, and Rochester Ordnance inspector (Ron Bolin) acceptance stamps, and falls in the correct serial number range for a military-purchase gun meant for training aerial gunners during WWII! It is one of only 1512 Field Grade Smiths so purchased. This gun was likely in stock when the order was first filled (i.e. early in the process) as it has the single "Hunter One" trigger and automatic ejectors. These rare options do not appear in later military orders. A very historically significant shotgun! SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: 1942 Caliber Info: 12 Ga.
