Description:
Winchester Model 1873 .38-40 (.38 WCF) caliber rifle. Barrel length 24”. Bore has very good rifling and is mostly bright with some very minor spots of corrosion. Action works smoothly and perfectly. The rifle has approximately 90% blue on the barrel and receiver. Magazine tube has even brown patina. There is a scarce tang sight with 1881 patent date. This sight was for the 1873.
