Almost a century ago, Colt debuted its six shot, steel framed Detective Special revolver we've come to know as "snub-nosed." Ever popular among plainclothes police officers, this revolver has built its reputation on being concealable and reliable. This Detective Special even features the original Colt hammer shroud, so the hammer doesn't get hung up on clothing when drawing from concealment. Bluing on this revolver has worn around the edges from holster wear, as well as the grips suffering from the same symptom. However, this shows that it was trusted as someone's sidearm for some time, proving how dependable this revolver truly is.
