CIVIL WAR COLT U.S. MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION .44 CAL. ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1862. Six shot with 8” barrel. Colt address on barrel and “COLT’S/PATENT” stamp on frame. Original and matching in the 89,xxx range. Frame screw and trigger nicely aged correct replacements. Wedge correctly un-numbered. Original walnut grips with two visible Govt. Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches- one on each grip. Very good plus overall with excellent 90% cylinder scene and nice crisp brown patina on metal All markings very sharp. Nice grips with the original finish. Working order and very good bore and chambers.
