CIVIL WAR COLT U.S. MODEL 1860 PERCUSSION .44 CAL. ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863. Six shot with 8” barrel having the Colt one line New York address. Frame stamped “COLT’S/PATENT”. All original serial numbered in the 131,xxx range and matching except the cylinder and barrel which are original period of use replacements with matching patina. Nice looking original example with mid Civil War production date (1863). Very good overall with nice blue-grey metal and crisp markings. 20-30% cylinder scene. Has all the correct Ordnance Inspector’s stamps and two visible cartouches on the original grips. Bottom of butt of left grip flat missing minor chip. Good working order and very good bore and chambers. Nice looking and reasonably priced.
