Full length walnut stock with checkered wrist and nicely carved wood trigger guard and lock and side panels. Plain butt. Unmarked. Very good reconversion to flintlock using the original lock plate with nicely aged correct reproduction lock parts. Barrel and stock with the original patinated finish. Lock in working order and good bore. Probably intended as a boar carbine but may also have been used as a horse mounted or coaching gun. Nice looking. SOLD Antique: Yes |
