Rarely found and offered for sale, this full, original 20 count box of Winchester 50-110 black powder ammo with lead bullets would date in the range from 1896 to 1898. Note one round has a later head stamp from the early 19teens. It is a 2-piece tan box with the 1-piece green fold-over label. Box is in very good condition with only a couple corners starting to crack. Bottom is sound. Great label with just minor peeling along one top edge and only minor staining. Recent comps sold for $1200 and $1500 so I think I'm in the ballpark. Not one to be without if you're an old ammo and/or Winchester 1886 fan !!
