Description:
Old box here, Winchester manufacture, 50 round box, still sealed and unopened, for the 38 Long Rim Fire. Typical of the rim fire calibers, it shows the "H" headstamp to honor the Henry rifle. This box is early enough to have the highly desired "Stetson's Patent Oct. 24th, 1871" callout on the top label. This box is in great shape, very minor label wear, no split or cracked edges, and very light aging. A fairly uncommon box in an uncommonly found high condition. Made for the 1885 Single Shot Rifle.
