Since the Civil War, Smith and Wesson revolvers have been a staple of American heritage. Millions of Smith and Wesson revolvers have seen action everywhere, from law enforcement officers, military during World War II, to hunting expeditions worldwide, to the bedside of many protecting their homes. With such an extensive company history, it comes as no surprise that this model 19-5 is one of the better revolvers out there. This K frame model sports a 2.5 inch barrel, popular among law enforcement plainclothes special agents at the time. This model is in great overall shape, but there are a few marks on the right of the frame and speckling in the finish on the left side of the frame. This 19-5 model is a classic example of why Smith and Wesson is known for their quality revolvers.
