Remington Custom Shop Safari Grade Rifle Model 700 in .375 H&H Caliber. SALE PENDING
This is an exceptional example of the Safari Grade rifles that were produced by the Remington Custom Shop in the 1970's. The workmanship is truely exceptional. Stock is in very good condition as the rifle has been in the field and does have the typical light handling marks. Factory stock has cheekpiece and Monte Carlo comb. Beautiful figured walnut with rosewood grip cap and forend cap. Correct Remington marked rubber ventilated recoil pad. Sling swivel eyes on stock and barel band swivel added. The metal is also in very nice condition at 95%. Rifle has a special order rear island sight base with one fixed and one folding leaf. Front sight is ramped with a blade insert. Sale does not include scope or rings. Bore is clean and bright. No rusting and no pitting. An exceptional rifle becoming harer to find in this configuration and condition.
