SWEDISH AIRFORCE Marked 1923 Luger Pistol
About 1,000 Made for this Swedish Military Contract
Here we present a DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) 1923 Swedish Military Contract Luger Pistol, made between the two World Wars, circa the 1920s. About 1,000 were produced for this contract.
The top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. It bears “CROWN/N” German proof marks on the bottom of the barrel and left side of the toggle and chamber. The left side of the frame also has Swedish “Tre Kronor” or Triple Crown. The “F8” is the marking of the F8 Barkarby Airfield.
The overall condition is fine. The original blue finish is 95% intact. Straw colors are 75%. The markings are clear and legible. Serial numbers match with the exception of the interior of the grips. Magazine is correctly unmarked.The bore is clear and bright. The grips are very good. The action on this pistol is excellent.
