Description:
This LC Smith 20 gauge ejector field grade has just been restored to (almost) like new condition. 26" barrels choked IC/M, original 2 1/2" chambers, single brass bead, 13 5/8" LOP over vintage new NoShok pad, 1 5/8" DAC, and weighs in at a trim 6lbs 1oz. This gun has just undergone a full restoration with genuine bone charcoal case colors, rust blued barrels, hot blued furniture, and hand rubbed oil stock. Invisibly inletted and glass bedded behind the locks to resist cracking. Three position safety. Powerful, well timed ejectors. The action locks up tight like new with the lever slightly right of center. Perfect shiny bores and matching serials. Excellent screw slots, all properly timed and tight. Sharp checkering shows some wear but not bad. All in all, this would be the ideal classic American grouse, bunny, quail, dove or farm pheasant 20 gauge ejector gun for the guy requiring a shorter LOP, an average lady, or a very lucky youngster. The perfect companion for RST 2 1/2" shells. Three day non-shooting, non-disassembly inspection period runs from receipt by FFL holder.
