Description:

WWI AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN Steyr-Hahn Model 1912 Pistol

World War I Dated 1916

Here we present a Steyr-Hahn Model 1912 Pistol, manufactured circa 1916. This semi-automatic pistol was developed in 1911 by the Austrian firm Steyr Mannlicher. It was developed for the Austro-Hungarian Army and adopted in 1912. The M1912 was able to endure the adverse conditions of trench warfare during World War I.

The left side of the slide is marked “STEYR1916/R/S”. The right side of the trigger guard has Austro-Hungarian proof marks.

The overall condition is fair. Steel has a gray patina. The markings are clear and legible. The bore is clean with good rifling. The grips are in fair condition and move a bit based on how they are fastened to the pistol. The hammer/trigger relationship is functional. The hammer appears to be a handmade replacement. The firing pin is absent.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 5 inches.

Caliber: 9mm Steyr

Overall condition as seen in photos.
