This is a very hard to find LEFT HANDED Model 70 new with the original box and hang tags with just a few tiny handling marks…all else is 100%. This gun was built in 1995, long after the famed “PRE-64” Winchester production had ended. With all of the fanfare given to the earlier guns, the most cherished feature lost transitioning to the post-64 guns was the controlled-round feed that became a push-feed in the later guns. However, in the CLASSIC SAFARI EXPRESS group of rifles built for dangerous game, Winchester brought this feature back and this rifle has the Mauser-type controlled round feed.
