Up for sale is a beautiful Tate S.I.A.C.E. 20ga hammer shotgun. It's number 28 out of 50 made. I am the second owner. Originally purchased for $12,500 in 1999.
I live within driving distance of Dale Tate - the original gunmaker - and had him inspect, service, and regulate this beautiful Tate 20. He replaced firing pins and springs. Dale Tate gave it a clean bill of health and still warranties his work today.
Tate Gunmakers only released 50 side-by-sides. Only a small amount were hammer guns and 20ga.
Choked for game at .025 and .013. Lead only as configured. Not safe for steel at current choke restrictions. If you want to shoot steel, Dale Tate can open up the fixed chokes.
Includes custom crafted english presentation case and canvas. Includes spare firing pins and parts. Includes cleaning accessories, snap-caps, oil can, and leather straps.
