Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here's a very nice old Marlin. Great bluing, excellent bore, aof prickling on the butt finish but overall a good looking rifle in a nice caliber to shoot. This is their Model B which had a blued, rather than case-hardened receiver. They are labeled for "black powder" and were made out of softer metal than the standard smokeless 1893s. I have shot this rifle and other Model Bs with light smokeless loads and cast bullets and they present no problem. But if you are concerned, have a knowledgeable gunsmith lookit over before shooting. Very nice original 100+ year-old rifle that shoots well. Original finish. $50 shipping and insurance and C&R eligible.
