Description:
This is a nice estate found fresh pepperbox, barrel is marked "Allen Thurber & Co. Worchester" and the hammer is marked "Allen's Patent 1845". The action works fine, the overall length is 8 1/2", the gun does show some usebut has good patina, nice engravings also. The bore looks good and clean, we have the bore checked at .31 cal.
