19th Century Saber
Here we present an antique Prussian Blucher Sabel Cavalry Saber, made circa the mid-19th Century. This sword features a stirrup style hilt with a wide sweeping blade suited for cutting rather than thrusting.
The condition is fair. The underlying wooden handle remains. The hilt and scabbard have been painted black. The blade is bright and somewhat sharp.
