Out of a collection I have for sale a Wonderful Smith & Wesson Model of 1950 .38/44 Heavy Duty D/A Revolver. This Gem was MFG in 1955 1 of 9,493 made. It is a Bright Nickel finished Revolver, with a Beautiful pair of Elk Stag Grips with Gold S&W Medalion by Patrick Grashorn. It is in Excellent over-all Original finish built on a 5-Screw N- frame. 5" Barrel with a mirror bore and tight lockup. .38 S&W Special caliber Heavy Duty Cylinder made to handle heavy duty Rounds. Weight is approx. 43.8oz. This revolver looks to have been fired very little and has been well taken care of. It is set in a S&W Presentation case that has been set up with an eagle motif.
