Savage model 99 in 250-3000.Built in 1938,this rifle has a 22" barrel with a mint bore.The rifle is factory engraved with a scroll pattern on each side of the receiver.The rifle has Weaver bases installed.The stock has a 13"LOP over a pad.The wood is sound and has checkered side panels.There are decorative mother of pearl inlays on each side of the pistol grip.The rifle is a great shooter and shots Winchester 87 grain bullets in 3 shot groups of less than 3/4".Factory engraved 99s are rare and this one is a solid rifle in a desireable caliber.this would be a great rifle to customize or upgrade or just take it hunting.C&R eliglble.
