Early model 1866 saddle ring carbine.Built in 1870,this rifle is in excellent original condtionThe 20" barrel has an excellent bore with strong rifling and no pitting.The receiver has turned a nice gold patina and has not been buffed.The barrel retains around 60% of the original blue.This is a fine example of the early 66 "yellow boy".Classified as an antique so it can be shipped directly.Very hard to find in this condition.
