Description:
Available today is a very nice, very early used Colt Python. 6" barrel, mint bore, excellent mechanics, grips are stone mint. Normal high edge wear on a revolver that was likely shot pretty regularly. The only detractor is that at some time in the past, a scope mount was installed which required drilling and tapping one screw hole in the middle of the topstrap. The hole was neatly done, has a filler screw installed and does not go completely thru the topstrap. Therefore- the buyer gets a screaming deal on a '61 Python that he or she can shoot without worrying about using a collector piece. Trigger is as smooth as any Python. Shipping on this gun is $35 to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC. If you pay with a personal check, you can expect us to hold the item for approx 10 days to ensure the check clears.
