Winchester “The Bear” 70 .30-06 caliber rifle. “The Bear” custom engraved pre-64 model 70. The receiver, barrel, floor plate and trigger guard are heavily engraved with tight scroll work. The floor plate is engraved with a game scene of a charging grizzly. The stock is elaborately carved with scrolls and a bear on the buttstock. Both sides of the stock have inlaid ivory figures of a bear, and the pistol grip cap is ivory carved with a bear. Has a Leupold 3.5-10x scope. A beautiful and extravagant piece, in excellent condition.
