Lightweight design allows quicker aiming, improved balance and ease of swing. 70% of recoil is absorbed by Beretta's Kick-Off hydraulic dampening system. Cycling speed is increased by Beretta's Blink technology – a gas operating system 36% faster than any other operating system. With a rotating bolt, new feeding system and self-cleaning piston, performance is tripled. The Optima-Choke® HP tubes are machined from high-strength steel and finished with a nickel-alloy coating that's anti-corrosive and stands up to steel shot. HP tubes are interchangeable on all Beretta barrels threaded for Optima-Choke HP. Shotgun has five components for quick fieldstripping. The A400's aluminum-alloy receiver boasts a protective anodized-brown-bronze finish. A400 action is a semiautomatic gas operation with compensating exhaust valve and improved self-cleaning piston. Handsome checkered walnut stock with adjustable shim system. Scope mount grooves. Crossbolt Ergonomics safety. Crisp chrome-plated trigger. 1/4” x 1/4” ventilated ribs. Fiber-optic sight.
