Description:
According to Colt's archives department. This gun was a factory flaw that lacked the stamp on the left side of the slide. All other markings on the gun are deep and crisp. Including those on the frame and right side of the slide. This gun is in over 90% condition. According to Colt it was originally finished in nickel. Grips are over 90% condition with no cracks or missing pieces and the Colt logo is very crisp and clear as is the checkering. Fit and finish is excellent as shown in pictures and a great example of a quality control error that made it into the general circulation of these pistols.
