This pistol is full-sized with a .71 caliber bore. The left side is equipped with a belt hook, typically denoting use in a naval capacity for boarding other ships or repelling boarders. This pistol is mounted with iron furniture with a single barrel band near the muzzle. The iron pommel cap is marked with an interesting proof or acceptance mark that appears to resemble a tent. Also, of great interest are the numerical markings that appear on the barrel, barrel tang, and pommel cap. The numeral “2” is repeated on all three with “45” and “817” visible solely on the barrel tang. Finally, there are numerals stamped into the wood of the stock beneath the belt hook: “47” and “1830”. The overall condition is good. The iron surfaces are bright with a light patina forming. The markings are clear. The stock has been repaired throughout. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 9 inches. Caliber: .71 Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
