Webley Fosbery Model 1902 .38 Automatic with 6" Barrel, retailed by W. Evans. 65. Pall Mall, London. S.W. This revolver was apparently sold and later returned to Webley and Scott where it was fitted with a cylinder not cut for the 8 shot .38 ACP spider clip. Information from Richard Milner, british arms expert, informed me he has only examined two other .38 Fosberys with the refitted factory cylinder with later BV and BP proof marks. The refitted cylinder will now accept the more popular .38 S&W cartridge. Revolver shows only test firing with 100% blue and perfect wooden grips. Webley Fosberys in .38 cal. are extremely rare and seldom seen in this condition and with this additional unique modification.
