Description:
This is one of the rarest helmets produced by the German war effort during WW1. Less than 5% of this huge 68 ,size were produced , and only a few companies produced the , the T.J. next to the 68 marking on the inside stood for C.THIEL & SOEHNE, LUEBECK one of the rarer makers of this large a helmet. The camo has the small line ,outline making it an early camoing. The liner is not there, and one lug needs to be replaced for the chin strap. This was found in a estate sale,first time out in public.
