I bought this Winchester model 70 up in Wyomimg back in 1980 new in the box. Essentially I bought it for one reason, actually two reasons, this is the most beautiful stock that I have ever seen on a Model 70 and two the bluing is just as bright as any Weatherby that I have seen. Check out the checkered bolt as well.
Some years ago I did mount a scope on the gun and since then have removed it. I honestly don't believe that I ever shot the gun.
