Description:
Smith&Wesson .38 safety hammerless with barrel cut down to 1 1/4". Good bore, tight action with finish showing slight carry wear and a few spots on the cylinder. This was obviously someones concealed carry gun.The chop job is very professinal with a dovetailed front sight anf nicely crowned barrel. The serial # is 255XXX*, the star indicating the gun had been returned to S&W for work. Thinking that the star indicated that S&W has cut the gun down I had the gun lettered and S&W denied having ever done any work on the gun.
