NEW PRICE! Colt 1973 Custom Shop SSA .45. This is one of 90 custom made Colt revolvers paying tribute to the Texas Rangers. It was manufacture in 1970 in the Colt Custom Shop where it was silver plated and sent to and engraved by Frank Hendricks Engravers out of San Antonio Texas. One of the engravers in his shop was William(Bill) W. Lister and that is who did this gun. Engraved mark WEL. Each of these guns come in a custom built cabinet with a steer hide bound history of the Texas Rangers numbered to the gun. Also, a genuine replica Texas Ranger badge made from a Mexican five Silver Peso is included. This gun was originally purchased by a Texas Family with Ranger ties. The pistol is dedicated to R.M. Miller an early frontier Texas Ranger, and family member. Recently two of these fine examples of the gun making art sold for $12,500.00. We are offering this beauty for a very fair. We cannot vouch that that the gun has not been fired therefore the price. The condition is excellent with light tarnishing of the silver.
