*** SOLD *** A beautifully engraved and stocked Merkel 360 EL .410 gauge that is Number 46 out of 100 in a special edition. It has 28” barrels, double triggers, automatic ejectors, and a Kersten cross-bolt. The engraving is elaborate and well executed but the very highly figured walnut used to stock this gun is something to behold! *** The frame is scalloped and features a woodcock game scene on the left side and running rabbits on the right. The engraving is very well done. Overall weight is 5lb 12oz. *** The 28” barrels are choked Modified and Full and will chamber 2-1/2” and 3” shotshells. The barrels are topped with a solid raised cross hatched rib that is inscribed “No. 46 of 100”. *** The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are stocked in a breathtaking piece of Circassian walnut. Checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2” over a thin factory plastic butt plate by 1-3/8” by 2-3/8”. Cast off for the righthand shooter. *** This fine double does not appear to have been shot much and is in excellent condition. The metal and wood finishes are in excellent condition but the stock does have a few small handling marks. Great sweet handling little double for quail, woodcock and dove. Don’t let this beautiful side-by-side get away. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
