1892 OCTAGON RIFLE, .25-20, #439XXX, MADE 1908. Nice with exc. bright bore that is not quite mint, but not far from it, fine deep, even barrel and mag blue, original buckhorn rear sight with original small blade front sight, receiver blue aged and mixing gray/brown with good blue on the loading gate, in the protected areas and even around the excellent screw heads, exc. blue on the bolt, exc. markings, fine walnut butt stock and forend- the butt stock showing a little better than standard grade walnut. Tight action and nice overall appearance.
