Colt US Army Model 1901, 38 Caliber revolver, double action, number 702, 6 inch barrel, good bore. This Colt is in overall good condition and is mechanically sound. Lockup is tight. is good Bore is shiny throughout with good rifling lands. The revolver is marked with the Govt Inspector initials on the left side of the frame. The revolver is marked "COLT D.A. 38" on left side of the barrel and COLT'S PT FA MFG. HARTFORD CT U.S.A. PAT. AUG 5, 1884 NOV 6,88 MAR 5,95." It is also marked well with US Model 1901 / 702 number on the grip butt.
