Description:
54 cal, no serial number. Custom percussion rifle by G Werner Lancaster PA. 34" octagaon barrel. Bore shows minor pitting, would clean to excellent. Barrel retains high percentage browning, rear sight has two stake marks to hold in place, front sight has four stake markes to hold in place. Underside of barrel has social secutiry number scratched in, no other identifying marks. Browned iron furniture (tang, buttplate, trigger guard, patch box, underside of forend and forend cap). Two barrel retaining wedges, also in iron fittings. Traditional hawken-style maple stock, shows quality workmanship throughout. Solid stock, no cracks or large large marrs. More photos on requst.
