CIVIL WAR STARR ARMS CO. SINGLE ACTION PERCUSSION .44 CAL. U.S. ARMY REVOLVER CA. 1863. All original and matching in very good plus condition. Original brown patina mixed with blue. Perfect markings and crisp “STARR’S PATENT JAN. 15, 1856” stamp on frame. Walnut grips with the original finish and two visible U.S. Govt. Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches. Minor nail head dents on butt. Very tight working order and excellent plus bore and chambers. Many issued to units in Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Kentucky and even the 2nd California Cavalry. Nice all original example at a reasonable price.
