RARE SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1891 THIRD MODEL .38 S&W CAL. SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER CIRCA 1895. 5 shot with 3 ¼” barrel with maker address and stamped “MODEL OF 1891”. All original and matching in the 10xxx range and in very near mint condition. 99.9% original nickel and has virtually all the case colors on the hammer and trigger guard. Mint factory original to the gun hard rubber grips. Extremely small social security number near the serial number stamp on the butt strap. So small it is hard to see it and could easily be removed. Smaller version of the New Model No. 3 Large Frame and much rarer. Mint bore and perfect working order. Looks like it just came out of the box.
