WW1 OR WWI EDDYSTONE U.S. P17 OR 1917 ENFIELD .30-06 RIFLE, CIRCA 1918. Serial number "9776XX". WW2 Lend Lease clues denoted by red paint on forend(so as not to confuse use of .30-06 and not .303) as well as broad arrow in circle and "E.R." on several places on stock. CDI import mark under barrel along with comensurate mismatched bolt but cycles properly and locks up tight. All original arsenal finish with crisp markings including flaming bomb, eagleheads(on stock as well), etc. Original finish on stock as well with NO sanding or signs of refinish. With old collection tag. Excellent bore and rifling.
