Description:
An excellent pre war (1934-37) German S84/94 bayonet and scabbard. This bayonet appears to be on that was reqorked in secrecy see pages 186-187 German bayonets Vol II by Anthony Carter. The blade shows a factory blued finish and is unmarked other than two waffen 253 mark and a serial # D9765 on the pommel. The scabbard shows an excellent arsenal refinish and is marked on the back side S/175 K as per page 186. The front fce shows #1871. the brown leather frog remains in excellent condition leather and stiching and is unmarked-An interesting and excellent condition pre war bayonet.
