Description:
24" tapered round barrel with gold band at muzzle, sling swivel and maker's name engraved in Old English lettering. Figured walnut stock with horn forend tip, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders (wrapping full under on the forend), engraved recoil crossbolt, horn pistol grip cap, beaded Monte Carlo cheekpiece, vacant silver initial oval, rear swivel, and Silvers red rubber recoil pad. FN Mauser action with tang-side safety, fire-blued extractor claw and magazine follower, Canjar trigger shoe, 5-panel checkered bolt knob with rosette and hinged floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Acanthus scroll engraving on front and rear receiver rings, floorplate and triggerguard. Maker's name and calibre inlaid in gold on floorplate; serial number inlaid in gold on triggerguard. Zeiss Diatal 6x42 MC scope with bold Number 4 duplex reticle on factory rings numbered to the rifle. Pull: 13 7/8". Weight: 8lbs, 12 3/4oz. London proofed in 1982. Lightly used and retaining 99% blue.
