Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: Just when we think we have seen every M77 MkII Ruger out there this comes along... This very scarce Ruger M77 MkII was made in 1991 only and was a distributor exclusive limited production gun for Davidson's. Not only does it have a very unique stock only used on this special model that combines the tough Zytel material with Rosewood panels, but it is chambered in 7.62x39 caliber! Typically a AK47 or SKS chambering, 7.62x39 ammo is plentiful and very cheap, and has superior balistics to a .30-30 Winchester cartridge so it can be used for most North American big game. This Ruger is in excellent condition and likely has been fired only a few times in it's entire life. This M77 MkII has been well cared for and properly stored for almost 30 years since it was new. The 22" inch barrel has a mint bore, bright and clean with rifling that looks brand new. The lands and grooves are still sharp and there is no pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind visible. The barrel has no iron sights or provisions for mounting them, it came from the factory with no sights. The stainless steel looks beautiful throughout this rifle, with only a few very small handling marks visible only under close inspection. The stock which is especially cool and unique is also in excellent condition. It is clean and attractive and shows no wear or damage. The Rosewood panels were a great design idea, they really make this stock look classy and different. The Rosewood panels are nearly flawless. There is no wear or handling marks visible on them anywhere except for one very small vertical rub mark on the left front panel to the left of the stainless hardware. There is a close up picture of this that I had to take at just the perfect angle for it to show. The length of pull on this stock is 13.5" inches to the end of the built-in rubber recoil pad. Everything on this rifle works 100% like the day it left the factory. The action is smooth and precise, and locks into battery perfectly. All of the controls work as they were designed to. This limited production Ruger M77 MkII comes with stainless factory 1" scope rings. If you are a Ruger collector or someone who appreciates classy limited-production special models you should own this rifle. The combination of a seldom-seen caliber and a special stock really make this one stand out, and it would be nearly impossible to find another one of these in better condition. Sorry, no box.
