The Colt Woodsman 3rd Series, Match Target Model, was made from 1955 to 1977. These pistols were fitted with a 4-1/2 inch heavy barrel, checkered walnut grips (1960 to 1977) adjustable Elliason sights, button magazine release, slide stop and hold open feature, and chambered in .22 LR.. This 1966 vintage Colt Woodsman Sport Model is as described, fitted with factory walnut grips, and is in fine original condition. It retains 98% of its original blue finish, with a few light handling marks on the sides and bottom of the barrel. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly. Sorry, no box or paper-work. A very clean Match Target Woodsman.
