Description:
Caliber 44-40 with a 7-1/2" barrel. Gun is in good condition with a fine bore. Correct walnut grips show a fair amount of use with a chip out of the toe. Gun has good sharp corners and nice markings with the etched panel on the left side of the barrel. Metal has a pleasing plum/brown color. This one should make a great shooter. 100k serial range. Hard to find an early civilian model like this with all matching numbers including the barrel. A very nice Antique Colt revolver.
