Description:
Inv.6878   Erfurt P-08, RIG, Dated 1912, Cal. .9 mm, Ser. 4481 a. What a find this was.It  walked in from an old estate.

A really great condition Erfurt with every part matching. A matching serial numbered holster and and a take down tool with the matching Bavarian military proof. The remaining factory finish is an easy 96-97%. The little loss there is, is the usual side plate and muzzle wear, sharp edge silvering, light toning of the grip straps and very light scattered pinpricks on the barrel. The strawed parts are, conservatively 75-85% about from all appearances this 106 year old gun must have sat out two wars  holstered in an attic trunk.

All part numbers match and there are Crown proofs on almost every part. The right side of the slide is stamped Crown/D, Crown/C, Crown/D, Upraised Eagle another Eagle is also stamped on the barrel. The walnut checkered grips are flawless, no splits, dings or flattened points. They are also numbered to the gun. The slide rails, bolt face and feed ramp show very little evidence of use. The bore is pristine. Mirror bright with rifling sharper than uyour mother in law's tongue.

Not a drop of frost any where on this old "Attic Queen" It comes with one correct non-matching walnut bottomed magazine The matching holster is the same super condition, No crackling or split seams. The front flap is numbered to the gun.The take down tool is correctly proof stamped to the gun also. In case you didn't know it, the next year 1913 the stock lug and bolt hold open were added.

For the collector, investor or casual shooter doesn't get much better than this, especially at this price. .......$2595. Shipped
